How to apply for a Work Permit in Cambodia?
To start, you need to obtain a work visa, which can be applied for at the Cambodian Embassy in your home country or upon arrival in Cambodia, valid for 30 days.
After obtaining the work visa, you can apply for a work permit. Applications for work permits can be submitted online through the MLVT’s Foreign Workers Centralised Management System (https://www.fwcms.mlvt.gov.kh/), along with the necessary employer and employee information. This process typically takes 15 to 20 days.
The work permit is valid for one year but must be renewed between January 1 and March 31 of the year it was issued. Renewals after April 1 will incur penalties.
