Cambodia offers several types of Visas
- Tourist Visa: The Cambodian tourist visa is intended for travelers who are visiting Cambodia for the purpose of tourism. It is for those seeking to stay and explore Cambodia for a relatively short duration.
- Ordinary Visa: The Ordinary Visa is similar to a tourist visa, but the key difference is that the Ordinary Visa can be extended for a longer period of time, typically for a few additional months beyond what is allowed with a standard tourist visa.
- Business Visa: The Business Visa is intended for visitors traveling to Cambodia for business purposes. This visa is valid for a period of 6 to 12 months and can be extended for additional months beyond the initial validity period.
- Retirement Visa: The Retirement Visa is for foreign nationals who want to spend their retirement years in Cambodia. Holders of this visa are issued a permanent residence permit, allowing them to travel freely and stay in Cambodia indefinitely. The visa is initially valid for one year and can be extended annually for several more years until permanent residency is granted.
- Student Visa: The Student Visa is for international students traveling to Cambodia to attend academic institutions. This visa is valid for the duration of the student’s study program.
- Job-seeking Visa: The Employment Visa is for foreigners seeking employment in Cambodia. This visa is valid for 6 months.
- E Visa: The e-Visa is an electronic visa that does not require a visit to the embassy. It is intended for short visits to Cambodia, with an initial validity of 30 days that can be extended for an additional 30 days.
