Cars are a crucial part of daily life for many people. Currently, Cambodia does not have any manufacturing facilities for cars or car parts, which leads to high prices for vehicles. All cars in Cambodia are imported. Despite the lack of domestic production, buying a car in Cambodia can be relatively straightforward for both locals and foreigners 

Things you will need to bring as a foreigner  

• Valid Passport  
• valid visa 
• certificate of residence

After purchasing the car, safety is the number one priority  

• Drive on the right side of the road  
• Always wear you seatbelt  
• Follow the speed limit and make sure to not go too fast  
• No drunk driving  
• Don’t use your phone while driving
